It used to be that ordering in meant greasy little takeout boxes of lo mein, or the two-for-one pizza deal. But then came Greenz. Now you can pick up the phone and order all sorts of fresh salads. Wait, we know what you’re thinking, but these aren’t your typical ho-hum garden salads. There’s a Hawaiian salad topped with avocado and seared ahi tuna; the Texas slaw salad topped with tender barbecued pork; and the Bar None salad topped with flank steak, roasted nuts and beer vinaigrette. If none of those hit the mark, you can crate your own custom salad with all your favorite fixins. And if leafy greens really aren’t your style, you can convert any salad to a wrap, or order one of the soups, like the creamy asparagus sprinkled with Gouda cheese. There’s also a handful of appetizers, like the Brie cheese pastries drizzled with strawberry sauce. Our neighborhood Greenz at Preston Forest Village delivers north to LBJ Freeway, south to Northwest Highway, east to Greenville Avenue, and west to Marsh Lane.
