You may have seen the yard signs and banners at your nearby Sonic — the chain is giving away free 10.5-ounce root beer floats tomorrow night from 8 p.m.-midnight. The free floats are being handed out to kick off the start of summer, or, since summer doesn’t officially begin until June 21, to kick off the start of Sonic’s summer hours, which now last until midnight each night.
Pick up a free float at any Sonic — the closest are at Inwood north of Forest, on Forest just east of Central Expressway, and at NorthPark Center.
