The last Simon David grocery store in Dallas will soon be no more as reported earlier this month. Most of you at Inwood and University have probably noticed the fencing surrounding the entire lot and the giant construction vehicles parked out front.
The city approved the demolition back in December despite concerns that its replacement, the newer, bigger Tom Thumb, might negatively affect the neighborhood.
At least there will still be a convenient grocery store around the corner.
