A story about million-dollar-plus foreclosures in Dallas uses as a case in point this faux “Tuscan village” in Preston Hollow. It cost $5 million to build, but the owners defaulted on a $3.8 million loan, so the lender now has it on the market for $3.9 million.

The story from Steve Brown at the DMN says that, according to data from the Foreclosure Listing Service, “During the last 18 months, more than 130 million-dollar-plus homes have been foreclosed in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton and Rockwall counties.”
