Are you in the mood for holiday shopping?  Tseelana Market is selling an assortment of paintings, jewelry, clothing and handbags and crafts from South Africa from the collections of Megan Adams, Brenda Bogart,and Beyond Baroque.  The profits from the sales will go towards The Wilson Foundation’s programs for South African children.  The sales will run from Thursday, Oct. 21, 5-8 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 22, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Trick or Treat!  The Preston Royal Village will host a free Fall Family Festival on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 4-7 p.m.  Several Preston Royal Village stores including The Purple Cow and The Toy Maven will participate in the festival by providing food, games, crafts, and a costume contest for prizes. Kidville, which is scheduled to open early next year, will have a tent with a raffle for a free class and informational guides to their programs, giveaways, and trick-or-treating.

DeGolyer Elementary School is having a County Fair on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 4-7 p.m.  The event will have food, rides and shopping.
