The temperature is dropping, and it finally feels like Christmas is just around the corner. If you’re looking to celebrate the season The Plaza at Preston Center will host Santa Days 2010 beginning Saturday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The event will also take place Saturday, Dec. 11 and Saturday, Dec. 18. Take free pictures with Santa Claus and his live reindeer, shop for Christmas goodies and walk through the decorated center.

The Jewish Community Center’s J Youtheatre will perform Disney’s Aladdin Jr. on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. at Zale Auditorium. The production will be a Broadway junior adaptation of the classic film. Tickets are $10 for students, $14 at the door, and $12 for adults, $16 at the door.

If you’re a fan of baroque music, check out A Baroque Christmas, Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at the Christ the King Catholic Church. The free event will feature Spanish, Mexican and Bolivian baroque music for the holiday season.
