Jesuit College Preparatory School‘s president-elect, Mike Earsing has announced that after a nationwide search, Thomas E. Garrison has been selected as the next principal, beginning July 1.
Garrison is a 1992 graduate of Jesuit and holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and an Master of Arts in Teaching in secondary education from Austin College. He has been a member of the Jesuit faculty since 1997.
Garrison began at Jesuit teaching English and has served in his current role, assistant principal for Student Academics, since 2003. He also received the Hal F. Tehan Family Award for excellence in education in 2000.
