As part of its ongoing relationship with Fidelity Investments, Marsh Middle School underwent several beautification projects over the weekend. Students, teachers, Fidelity volunteers and Mayor Mike Rawlings came out to show their support.

Volunteers painted murals along the fine arts hallway and created display areas for student art. Outside, they turned a blacktop surface into a fully functional basketball court with regulation lines, a net and seating. The work also included updating the school’s main entrance and landscape improvements in the courtyard.

This was the second annual school Transformation Day through Fidelity’s national partnership with HandsOn Network, the largest volunteer network in the nation, to help revitalize the learning environments and support the educational needs of 10 middle schools across the United States.
