Restaurant talk: Winter wine dinner at La Duni

Looks like the cold weather is here to stay, and that’s a great excuse to indulge in a holiday wine dinner. La Duni NorthPark is hosting its Winter Wine Dinner Wednesday, Dec. 7. A reception is at 6:30 and dinner begins at 7 p.m.

The featured wine is the Chorizo Canape Poema Cava, the traditional sparkling wine served in Spain. The menu features an appetizer of Campechana, a house-made shellfish cocktail with spicy tomatoes, avocado and cilantro. The entree is Ossobucco with citrus wild mushrooms and mashed potatoes. It was this year’s winner at the Dallas Food and Wine Festival. For dessert, there’s Tarte Tatin, a European apple tart with caramel and vanilla ice cream.
