The team to beat

The third grade boys’ flag football team from Providence Christian School remains undefeated for the fourth straight season. Since they were kindergarteners, this Providence team has won consecutive championships in the Town North YMCA and Spring Valley Athletic Association leagues. Family first

Medical City and Medical City Children’s Hospital recently awarded nearly $170,000 to The Family Place, a neighborhood nonprofit that reaches thousands of victims of family violence each year with award-winning programs. Since 2002, the hospital has raised more than $1.2 million for various non-profit organizations. Kids helping kids

Students at the Lamplighter School assembled hygiene kits for abused and neglected children and delivered the items to Community Partners of Dallas, a nonprofit that provides support and resources to Child Protective Services.
