The popular children’s store The Toy Maven has expanded again. This time, it took over the Kids Cooking Company space next door. Candace Williams owns both stores but decided it was time to focus on just one concept.
It’s kind of a shame to see Kids Cooking Company go though. It was a pretty cool concept that featured all types of classes for children like “Cooking with Mommy and Daddy” for toddlers, “Growing Gourmets” for ages 4-6 and “After School Chefs” for kids 5-12. It was especially fun around holidays.
In April 2010, Toy Maven expanded into the space on the other side of its storefront formerly occupied by the fashion boutique Talula. All this growing is good news for the toy store, which has always received glowing reviews for its collection for books, toys and gadgets.
