Santiago Calatrava's "Wave" adorns the front of the Meadows Museum on Bishop.

We’ve been hearing all about the fancy new Calatrava bridge and its opening celebration this weekend. But did you know that the SMU Meadows Museum has a permanent collection of sculptures by the renowned Spanish artist? The exhibition “Calatrava and SMU: A Decade in Motion”runs March 4-April 22 and celebrates the 13-year relationship, featuring three Calatrava works including “Wave”, an outdoor perpetually moving sculpture.

Northpark Presbyterian Church hosts a huge garage sale 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday. There’s an entry fee of $10, and proceeds benefit youth mission trips.

Northaven Gardens hosts its Spring Rose Festival Saturday and Sunday, which features special programs and breakfast and lunch from Tin Star and Cane Rosso.
