Last week, former president George W. Bush, probably the most famous Preston Hollow resident, led 20 wounded servicemen and women on a 100k mountain bike ride through Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The three-day, 19.4-mile Warrior 100k aimed to highlight the work of soldiers who have been wounded while serving in the military.

This photo is from the final day Saturday. Bush (left) and event volunteer Kyle McAdams of Amarillo (right) help wounded warrior Dan Gade of West Point, N.Y., get up a steep incline along the trail.
