Looking for ways to celebrate Fourth of July? Here are just a few events happening in our neighborhood.
Preston Hollow East hosts its parade at 9 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a festival at 6337 Prestonshire with refreshments. People are encouraged to dress up in their best red, white and blue attire.
The Hillcrest Forest parade circles Kramer Elementary at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Dallas Fire-Rescue will lead the parade of vintage cars, scooters and children on decorated bikes. The party afterward features ice pops, balloon animals and the “best dressed pet” award.
The Hockaday Neighborhood’s parade starts at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Welch and College Park just off Northaven. It includes food and drinks, a DJ, games, contests and a salute to veterans.
