Robin Oldham of Smashing Times, Inc. created the shimmering Pegasus in Preston Royal Village in 2001. Oldham was a part of a citywide art initiative to design Pegasus figures to represent Dallas. Henry S. Miller sponsored the mosaic for about $6,500.
