With the TNT series, Rizzoli & Isles, based on her books about two heroines and partners-in-crime, Tess Gerritsen is the only Asian thriller writer to achieve best-selling status.
Gerritsen will be at Highland Park United Methodist Church 7 p.m. Sept. 4 where she will talk about her latest book, Last to Die, and sign autographs.
The book is about Dr. Maura Isles and homicide detective Jan Rizzoli working on cases that involve three teenagers whose parents have recently been murdered.
