Septembeard is an organization focused on eradicating prostate cancer by encouraging men to grow out their beards. Individuals or teams get family or friends to donate money or sponsor their beards, and the funds go to several organizations like Mayo Clinic and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
The Gents Place will host the Preston Hollow Septembeard Mixer 5-7 p.m. Sept. 30 to celebrate the month-long accomplishments with complimentary straight razor shaves or beard trims, beverages and House of Cigars on site hand rolling organic cigars for purchase.
