Children got to see through the eyes of a bee, hear like a snake and bend light at Lamplighter School Oct. 3.

The school partnered with Perot Museum of Nature and Science for family Science Night, the first of this year.

Eighteen stations were set up in the school’s auditorium and gymnasium where parents and students participated in 3-5 minute long activities to inspire their interest in the sciences. Other stations included: “balloon rockets”, “thump” – the exploration of Newton’s Law of Inertia, the second Law of Motion, fossil exploration and how wind is made.

The kindergarten and first grade kiddos received certificates of completion follow the experiments.
