After winning a design competition this summer, Hockaday fifth grader Lily Forbes is getting the chance to see some of her designs onstage in the Dallas Children’s Theater production of “Pinkalicious.” Apparently a month of the show, which has been running since Sept. 21, wasn’t quite enough for play-goers. The DCT added some extra dates for this weekend.
The new final performances will be Saturday, Oct. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. both days. The DCT expects tickets, which you can buy online, to sell out. Children over age five are welcome.
If you’re not familiar with the children’s book, the main character contracts Pinkitis and learns to add some other healthy colors to her cupcake diet. In September, Pinkalicious made the rounds to recognize students for choosing to mix healthy greens into their lives.
