The W.T. White community is on board with a project to turn Sandy Hook Elementary into a “Winter Wonderland” upon students’ return to school.
Show up with scissors to Duxiana at 6134 Berkshire from 6–8 p.m. Jan. 6 to make as many unique snowflakes as possible to send to the elementary school. The idea came from the National PTA and when W.T. White heard about it, they immediately sought out a date to help.
W.T. White Freshman are sponsoring the event that will provide paper and free refreshments.
Though nothing can erase the terrible shooting that took place that Dec. 14, schools across the county are stepping forward to help as much as they can.
