DeGolyer parents and students have the opportunity to meet their new principal tonight as a part of “Moving-Up Night.”
Tara Mays will take over as principal at the beginning of the 2013-2014 academic year after nine-year principal Alecia Cobb will move on to work at another school.
Pre-kindergarten through fourth grade parents and students will also participate in an orientation for their next grade level. The event is from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. in DeGolyer Elementary‘s auditorium.
