David James Nayfa of Preston Hollow and his business partner Mark Bradford are bringing hot dogs and sweet drinks to their new storefront, “Sno Dawgs Hawaiian Shave Ice & Kickin’ Dogs.”
This won’t be your typical snow cone stand, either. With an open date set for “on or around July 10,” the storefront will feature more than 100 shave ice flavors made with cane sugar and sans the high fructose corn syrup.
Flavors include birthday cake, mocha, tiramisu, dreamsicle and more. Those looking to skimp on the calories might like the pink cotton candy, butterscotch, kiwi and other “skinny ice” flavors made with Stevia, a zero-calorie natural sweetener.
Nayfa will also serve hot dogs, Italian sausage and chicken sausage. The meats will come from Niman Ranch, whose products are free of nitrates, nitrites, antibiotics and gluten. Sno Dawgs will also serve pretzels with dipping sauces.
The food and drinks spot is located behind Starbucks at 12300 Inwood, Suite 200.
