Ice cream under a frosted cupcake top: Sprinkles
The way we do dessert is about to change. A week from today, Sprinkles Ice cream will open up in the Plaza at Preston Center. Yes, this is the same Sprinkles who just opened a cupcake ATM next to their infamous cupcake shop.
Sprinkles Ice Cream flavors will include classics like vanilla and strawberry, but also includes funky flavors such as salty caramel or cap’n crunch. Non-dairy sorbets, shakes, malts, root beer floats, cookies, red velvet waffle cones, and brownies will also be on the menu.
The confection to the left also highlights the most innovative ice cream topping: a Sprinkles cupcake top.
This will be the third Sprinkles Ice Cream location to open since the first one opened in Beverly Hills last year, according to the press release.
You can meet Sprinkles founder Candace Nelson when she visits the store opening day from 3-5 p.m.
Hours will be noon to 11 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and noon to midnight Thursday through Saturday.
