The home purchased last May by Dallas ISD Superintendent Mike Miles and his family is now on the market, reports real estate blogger Candy Evans.

Just a month ago, Mike Miles’ wife and son moved back to Colorado because “negative news coverage of Miles’ Dallas ISD leadership had taken a toll on his family,” according to the Dallas Morning News.

As Superintendent, Miles has worked to improve under-performing schools, increase teacher observations, and remove principals at underperforming schools. In recent months, Miles was accused of interfering during a review to determine if he had broke rules handling a service contract. Under the scrutiny, Miles’ wife and son moved back to Colorado, and Miles got an apartment closer to the Dallas ISD administrative offices, the DMN says.

In August DISD spokesman Jon Dahlander said that Miles’ family will re-evaluate the decision at the end of the school year to determine whether or not to return to Dallas.

With the Preston Hollow home now on the market, one wonders whether the decision has already been made.
