“Relax, rejuvenate, and repeat!” reads the Hiatus Spa + Retreat website. The Inwood Village spa, which opened back in 2007, aptly promotes their mantra by offering a bevy of spa services — from nail treatments, to body wraps and facials.

The spa has won numerous awards, including some for their “H-Circle” membership program. Members pay the $29 initiation fee and $59-$69 per month to choose from one discounted essential spa service a month (as well as enjoying retail discounts, priority booking, and other perks).

Hiatus has announced that they will now include acupuncture services in their essential spa service list.

With over 28 years of experience, spa therapist Kari Michel Love Avery will perform varying acupuncture services (the full list is here) that can help alleviate chronic pain, arthritis, allergy symptoms and promote weight control, smoking cessation and energy balancing.

The acupuncture essential service lasts 45 minutes and costs $85 ($59-$69 for H-Circle members). Book appointments by calling 214.352.4111 or online here.
