The popular Uptown diner Kozy Kitchen opened a second location last week just outside our neighborhood at the northwest corner of LBJ and the Dallas North Tollway, the Dallas Observer reports. That’s mighty brave of them considering how tortured the LBJ corridor is right now.

The restaurant announced on its website that it has more limited hours on the new location, open for breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday.

Kozy Kitchen serves home-style menu — bacon and eggs, French toast, sandwiches, that kind of thing — and most of the dishes are gluten-free. Recipes also use grass-fed beef, wild-caught seafood and locally sourced produce.

The new space formerly housed the old Korean fusion spot, Goghee To Go.
