Last week, Preston Hollow resident and Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings was honored with the Mental Health Association of Greater Dallas (MHA Dallas) media award at the organization’s 2013 PRISM Award Ceremony.
Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings and a panel of community leaders led a public forum named, “Erasing the Stigma of Mental Illness” that was later broadcast on KERA. Watch coverage from the forum in the video below.
MHA Dallas President and Preston Hollow neighbor Matt Roberts says, “This collaboration was timely and continues to push us forward as a community to erase the stigma of mental illness, providing open dialogue on possible solutions.”
The MHA Dallas PRISM Award Ceremony was held to recognize outstanding individuals who have made a significant contribution to improving the mental health of the Dallas community. For over 20 years, MHA has hosted the PRISM Award Ceremony.
