The upscale sushi and Pan-Asian restaurant Shinsei is now offering two family-style meals by reservation only on Tuesdays and Thursdays — either Korean BBQ for $48 and Peking duck for $42. Each comes with various accompaniments and serves 3-4 people. Call 214.352.0005 to make reservations.
In other sushi-related news, Rare Restaurant and Lounge, the new sushi place that opened last July in The Shops at Park Lane, has closed. That’s according to Nancy Nichols at SideDish, who was tipped off my an unnamed source that “some investors are taking it over.”
Mi Piaci is offering buy one get one free lunches all this week, “in the Spirit of Thanksgiving.” Just make sure to print the coupon on their website for redemption.
