The popular neighborhood fabric store CityCraft, which closed its Inwood Village location in December, has finally announced its new location at 2104 Irving Blvd.

The shop will open by Feb. 28 and host a grand opening party March 8.

The new spot is about seven minutes down the Dallas North Tollway in the Trinity River Corridor, near the Sylvan Avenue Bridge and adjacent to the Design District. The square footage of the space will triple, allowing for more fabric, a new fiber arts department and two classrooms.

CityCraft is known not just for its wide selection of fabric and accessories, but also for its classes and tutorials for making scarves, purses and clothes. They have a children’s summer camp that sells out months in advance.
