Screen Shot 2014-02-24 at 10.02.47 PMIn our November 2012 issue, we profiled Nicole Brewer and Amy Laws, two neighborhood residents who launched a business selling their own children’s clothing designs. The catch is that it runs almost entirely on Facebook via twice-weekly auctions where fans from all over the country furiously bid on items.

But it’s about become a little easier to get the goods from these savvy entrepreneurs. On Wednesday, Smocked Auctions will begin selling items on its website — which means now, shoppers can buy what they want any time. Brewer and Laws announced the update on (where else?) Facebook yesterday.

They describe their clothing styles as cute yet functional for kids, and the items are often in high demand. The Facebook page has more than 370,000 likes, and some auction posts receive close to 3,000 likes and comments.
