After less than a year of business, the Mi Piaci in Preston Center has closed. An Advocate reader alerted us to a possible midnight move-out, and this morning, the Dallas Observer reported that the owners were indeed locked out for not paying the rent, according to a notice on the door from Berkshire Management who has since terminated the lease.
The Italian restaurant’s Addison location suffered a similar fate last year. Mi Piaci, which had been in business a total of 23 years, opened its location in Preston Center last July.
