Here are a few bits of Preston Hollow news that you may have missed this week:

Michael Parker isn’t the only longtime teacher at W.T. White High School who is retiring. The Dallas News sports blog posted that W.T.White’s baseball coach David Shepherd, who has coached at the school since 1980, will retire after one more year at the school.

The Preston Hollow corridor has some of the shortest commute times in Dallas County. That’s according to the Dallas Observer’s summary of a recent Census Bureau commuting map.

Back in March we reported that the uber-healthy/locally-sourced/organic fast food chain LYFE Kitchen is opening a location in Preston Center this summer. This week, Dallas Business Journal announced that the official opening date for the restaurant is June 20. (Update: according to a recent press release, LYFE will instead open on June 27.)
