Residents of Edgemere senior living in Preston Hollow received a visit from ex-CIA spies Tony and Jonna Mendez — the real people behind the Oscar-winning movie, “Argo.”
The couple spoke to a packed house about their experiences as intelligence officers. Jonna spent 27 years in the field and earned the CIA’s Intelligence Commendation Medal. Tony received the Intelligence Star of Valor for his involvement in the rescue of six U.S. diplomats in Iran, the event on which “Argo” is based.
