The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce has selected Baker Brothers Plumbing & Air Conditioning as its 2014 business of the year award winner.

The award was presented at a recent luncheon featuring Mike Donahue, co-founder and chief brand officer of LYFE Kitchen.

“I was so honored to be nominated for the business of the year award and honestly did not have any expectations to win,” Baker Brothers president Jimmie Dale says.

“Without God, my faith in him, my awesome team of managers, and our hard working technicians, this truly would not be possible. It has taken every single one of us to get where we are today and push on to reach our goals for the future. This award is an honor for all of us,” he says.

To be nominated for the award, a business must be at least five-years-old, have local ownership, have one to 300 employees, be an active member of the community, and not be a current board member of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce.

Previous winners of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce business of the year award include OMNIPLAN Architects, Sendero Business Services, Shelton School, Purdy-McGuire, Inc., Warrior Group, TELOS Fitness Center, Cooper Aerobics Enterprises, Inc., Yellow Cab, J.O.Y. Foods, Martin, Fletcher & Associates, Business Jet Center, KBA Group (formerly the KGA Group), Southwest Office Systems and Delta Dallas Staffing.
