The W.T. White High School community comes together 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 28 for the fifth annual street fair in the school parking lot.

Sponsored by the W.T. White PTSA, the free event features food and local business vendors, games, rides, a raffle and live performances. Proceeds from the raffle go toward the WT White PTSA Scholarship Fund.

W.T. White also is celebrating its 50th anniversary with events scheduled April 10-11, bringing together current and former students and teachers, and community members. The school opened its doors for the first time in 1964. A golf tournament is set for Friday, April 10. The following Saturday, there’s a 3 p.m. “Walk the Halls” open house event, including an assembly with performances and a few surprise. A celebration gala is at 7:30 p.m. at Brookhaven Country Club.
