Last summer, as the first phase of Preston Hollow Village was taking shape, we learned that Pakpao Thai would open a second location in the new shopping center.
The restaurant has been a hit in the Design District with chef Jet Tila at the helm. The menu includes popular items like pineapple fried rice, braised pork belly and crispy morning glory salad. The signature cocktail is the Pakpao Chula Rita, a lemongrass margarita.
In other Thai food news, Pakpao’s former chef, Eddy Thretipthuangsin, is opening Kin Kin Urban Thai at Preston and Forest sometime this summer.
