To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Meadows Museum presents “The Abelló Collection: A Modern Taste for European Masters,” April 18-Aug. 2, featuring more than 100 works from the 15th and 20th centuries. Saturday also is Founders Day: Passport to Spain, which involves free admission and special activities.

NorthPark Center hosts ArtsPark 1-5 p.m. Saturday, featuring live performances all day long from local arts and cultural organizations.

English composer John Rutter conducts the Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church choir and orchestra during a concert at 7 p.m. April 19. His newest work was commissioned for the sanctuary choir by David and Miranda Lind. The concert is free, but arrive early for a good seat.

Bluegrass musician Sean Watkins performs at Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse, singing from his new solo album, “All I Do Is Lie.”
