The Shops at Park Lane community park
With the expansion of the Shops at Park Lane comes a new outdoor gathering space that will begin hosting community events this summer.
The 10,000-square-foot park includes several water features, including a fountain the kids can play in, as well as Wifi and power outlets.
The center has a few summer events already planned in the new park. Fitness Fridays will be at noon every Friday in May. It’s free yoga or Pilates class hosted by Studio6. Bring your own mat and water. Movies in the Park begin in June. Bring blankets and chairs for a free outdoor movie at dusk every Friday. The lineup includes: “Pitch Perfect” on June 5; , “Jurassic Park” on June 12; “Zoolander” on June 19; and “Despicable Me 2” on June 26.
