Looking for a few places to take Mom on Sunday? Here are a few of the best options in our neighborhood.

TJ’s Fresh Seafood features a four-course Mother’s Day menu until 3 p.m. Choose from maple and mustard seed glazed shrimp, a blue crab omelette and other entrees. Make reservations as soon as possible — it will fill up. The Royal Lane restaurant also has opened its patio just in time for spring.

Dish Preston Hollow, which has continued to receive buzz for its new location in our neighborhood, has a four-course menu of breakfast breads, salmon croquettes, pan-roasted chicken, a devil’s food cake with peanut butter mousse, and more. Try the blood-orange mimosa, among other classy cocktails. See the full menu.

Dine at Bread Winners Cafe & Bakery for brunch. Or if you come after 5 p.m., dessert is free. Two special entrees are on tap: roasted tomatillo chilaquiles and the nature lovers waffle.

Oso Food & Wine, the fantastic Mediterranean restaurant at Preston and Forest, has a three-course menu (for just $35) on Mother’s Day, featuring smoked salmon mousse, beef tenderloin medallions, a spiced date cake, and more.

For a last-minute option, you can’t go wrong at La Duni, which has a first-come, first-serve brunch buffet 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at its NorthPark location.
