Bring a picnic and a blanket to the Northaven Trail for a screening of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” Friday. The movie starts at dusk in respite area of Dealey Park. “Pitch Perfect” is screening at sunset in “The Park” at the Shops at Park Lane, as part of the June Movies in the Park series.

As part of the Dallas Holocaust Museum’s Upstander Speaker Series, Chief Rabbi of Poland Michael Schudrich will give a talk at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Jewish Community Center. Schudrich is known as the “24/7 Rabbi” for his tireless efforts to rebuild Jewish life in Poland after it was almost completely obliterated during the Holocaust.  Since the fall of Communism in 1989, a growing number of Poles have learned of their Jewish roots. Rabbi Schudrich is the person they often turn to for help.

Bookmarks Library at NorthPark Center presents Grace Hula Dance at 2 p.m. Saturday. Children can learn about the “spirit of ahola” through hula and Tahitian dance. Also at the mall, Stephanie’s Day returns for its 12th year 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday with activities and entertainment for children with special needs.
