Wine isn’t just about grapes. Need proof? Whole Foods has it. The store on Preston Road will host a complimentary tasting event tonight at 7 p.m. Sample summer wines made of berry, fruit and honey. Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance by clicking here.

Later this month, there will be a new creamery in town. Honey Dee’s Ice Cream hasn’t revealed an exact opening date yet, but the Summertree Shopping Center storefront looks ready for business. We’ll keep you posted.

Torchy’s Tacos on Forest Lane is closed until August for renovations. Here’s the good news: when the restaurant reopens, you’ll be able to order draft beer, bottled beer and frozen margaritas. Worth the wait, don’t you think?

On July 25, TJ’s Seafood Market & Grill will offer a sushi rolling class at Veritas Wine Room. The event begins at 4 p.m. and costs $46 per person. To RSVP, email bradley@andersonllp.com.
