The Central Forest Shopping Center will soon get a makeover. Henry S. Miller Company recently sold 49% ownership interest of that property, as well as another in Dallas, to “a private family trust.” According to the press release, a portion of the funds garnered from the sale will go toward “a multimillion-dollar renovation project at both properties.”

Greg Miller, the Miller Company’s CEO, says renovations at The Central Forest Shopping Center will be primarily cosmetic. Among other things, he plans to restripe the parking lots and repair anything that needs repairing. Work begins immediately. He assured us that “the businesses in the center will not change,” so you’ll still be able to dine at Asian Mint and buy printer ink at Office Depot. Phew!
