You’re invited to dine at the Preston Hollow estate of Faye Briggs on October 11. The event starts at 6 p.m. and benefits Nexus Recovery Center, a substance abuse treatment facility for women. After your belly is full, sip wine and participate in an auction. Legendary newscaster Gloria Campos will emcee. Tickets are $75.
The following day, more funds will be raised for the nonprofit at the 50th Annual Westapher Golf Charity Tournament. Grab your lucky putter and head to Cowboys Golf Club at 6 p.m. Preston Center Rotary is organizing the event, which will conclude with an awards dinner. Individual players can register for $350.
