Help shape the future of Preston Road and Northwest Highway by attending a community workshop tonight at 6:30 p.m. The event, hosted by city officials and members of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), takes place at the Walnut Hill Recreation Center. Guests are invited to share their vision for the area and ask questions about proposed development projects.
Speaking of proposed development projects, “the Transwestern Zoning Case will be on the Council Agenda for Tuesday, November 10 [at 1 p.m.],” according to an email from Councilman Lee Kleinman.
The City Plan Commission approved Transwestern’s rezoning request in September. If City Council does the same, the company plans to build a luxury apartment complex at the northeast corner of Preston and Northwest Highway.
