Let’s face it — every holiday party is better after a little imbibing. Find the perfect bottle of wine Dec. 5 at a fundraiser benefiting Rebuilding Together Greater Dallas, a nonprofit that helps low-income and disabled homeowners with repairs.
The neighborhood event begins at 6 p.m. at The Art of Wine. Swirl, swish and snack on food pairings. Tickets are $30 a pop. 10% of each bottle sold at the event, as well as $2 of each glass purchased, goes back to the charity. Additionally, Art of Wine will donate 15% of its online sales Dec. 5-6 to the cause.
Also of note: While not mandatory, ugly Christmas sweaters are strongly encouraged.
