Medical City Dallas Hospital got bigger with the unveiling of 123 private patient rooms last week. It’s part of the 156,000-square-foot addition in its Building E tower that also includes a new Inpatient Rehabilitation Center and Joint Restoration Institute set to open June 1.

“Housing our orthopedic, neuroscience, epilepsy, intensive care unit and inpatient rehabilitation center in one building brings our vision of an orthopedic and neurosciences hospital on the campus of Medical City to life,” says Troy Villarreal, president and CEO at Medical City Dallas Hospital in a release.

The rooms, which are decked out with recliners and flat screen TVs, include 32 new Intensive care unit rooms; 46 orthopedic, neurology and epilepsy patient rooms; 12 joint care unit rooms and 33 inpatient rehabilitation rooms. The remodel also included the addition of a gym, private dining room and other upgrades.
