We all want to know the new place to eat in town, right? Well, the neighborhood has one new addition and two others soon-to-open, along with a popular Bishop Arts boutique.

Blatt Beer and Table brought an upscale pub vibe to the neighborhood when it opened this month at Preston Hollow Village. It has reasonably priced dishes offered with a twist, like pretzel bites served with rosemary infused mustard, or the Blatt burger with Guinness-braised onions. There’s also a wide number of vegetarian and gluten free options, for those with dietary restrictions. The bar, lit up with hipster Edison bulbs, is focused on beers, with an emphasis on local brews, along with shuffleboard. It’s the second Blatt Beer and Table in the US, the first being in Nebraska. It’s part of the Flagship Restaurant Group, the brainpower behind popular neighboring restaurant Blue Sushi Sake Grill.

Also opening in Preston Hollow Village, likely this fall, is a taste of old school taqueria with Cincos Tacos. It’ll be the second location for the restaurant, but with its own fresh concept. While the flagship location in Addison offers a full service bar, this will be more about beer and margaritas in a relaxed environment, according to CultureMap.

Students at Jesuit High School will have a new spot to hit for lunch when East Hampton Sandwich Co. opens its sixth location right across the street. The shop has a little bit of everything that can be served on bread, from classics turkey to the upscale lobster grilled cheese. The newest location is expected to open in August at 12300 Inwood Road.

And finally, something you can’t eat, but it smells so good you might want to. After launching its popular first store in Bishop Arts, Society will be opening a second location in Preston Hollow. Known for its extensive collection of candles and offbeat greeting cards, the new shop will occupy just 604-square-feet of the Plaza at Preston Center. It’s expected to open in August at 8383 Preston Center Plaza Drive, suite 140.
