The Blue Candlelight Music Series is returning for its 15th season, and it kicks off this weekend inside one of our neighborhood homes.

Founded in 2002 by Daredjan “Baya” Kakouberi and Lisa Blue, the chamber music series brings world-class musicians to private homes across Dallas.

On Friday at 6:30 p.m., Alexander Tselyakov and Jesús Castro-Balbi will perform classic works from Bach to Brahms at Preston Hollow neighbors Richard and Enika Schulze’s home.

Tselyakov is a Russian musician and professor of piano in Canada, and Balbi is a Peruvian professor of cello at Texas Christian University.

If you’d like to experience their performance close-up, the evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres before the concert at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $65 and are available here.
