If you plan to see the opening of Meadows Museum’s latest modern Spanish art exhibit, stop by the museum this Friday for an art history lesson. Experts from Spain, England and New York will discuss the modern Spanish artists and works highlighted in the exhibition from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The half-day symposium is free, but seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Follow the presidential campaign trail for the last time this weekend at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. The special exhibit, titled Path to the Presidency, chronicles the history of U.S. elections and closes Oct. 9.

Bring the kids to Bookmarks this Saturday for a Le Theatre de Marionette performance. The 40-minute puppet show starts at 2 p.m.
