A woman was stabbed at NorthPark Center on Sunday evening during a dispute with another woman.

Twenty-one-year-old Jacquarion Betters was arguing with the woman at the bustling shopping center when she stabbed her twice, according to Fox4News. Betters was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The women did not know each other prior to the argument, according to the Dallas Police Department.

According to the Dallas County Jail, Betters’ bond was set at $25,000.

According to NBC 5, the victim was treated by Dallas-Fire Rescue for non-life threatening injuries, and she then was transported to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.

NorthPark Center released a statement that called the event an “isolated incident” and said, “The safety and security of our visitors, tenants and employees is our top priority, and we will continue to work with and assist law enforcement in the investigation of this incident.”
